This gym isn’t just a business to me, it’s a place for my kids to grow and everyone else’s for that matter!
I grew up right here in Redlands, attended every RUSD school from kindergarten through graduation, and never really left. Redlands is in my bones. When it came time to open something of my own, there was never a question about where it would be. This city deserves something special, and I hope we’re delivering exactly that.
The Family
Behind every great gym is an even greater family, and mine is everything. My husband Matt and I are raising five incredible kids who keep us laughing, cheering, and completely on our toes every single day.
Our oldest, Romi, is 18 and heading off to college this fall — a milestone that has this mama feeling all the feelings. She’s blazing her own trail and we couldn’t be more proud.
Then there’s RT, 16, who just got his driver’s license — which means Matt and I have officially entered a whole new chapter of parenting: boy teenage driver. 😂 Send prayers.
Our son Rawson is almost 14 and lives and breathes baseball. If you don’t see him at the gym, he’s on a field somewhere. That kid has a bat in his hand before breakfast.
And then there are our two littlest — and if you follow us on social media, you may already know them by their alter egos.
Our daughter Oakli, 7, is a dancer with a heart of gold and more energy than any person I’ve ever met. She also happens to be the inspiration behind Sensory Star ,our golden-caped superhero who can feel what every kid needs. That’s our Oakli. That’s always been our Oakli.
And our youngest, Ezra, 5, is in kindergarten and is the most fearless little human I know. His boundless electric energy? That’s exactly where Zippy came from. Every time you see Zippy zipping through the gym, just know — that’s Ezra, 100%.
Why This Gym
After years in education, I knew I wanted to stay connected to children and families — especially those in the special needs community — but I wasn’t ready to go back into the classroom. I wanted to find a way to serve families in a different way. A bigger way. A more joyful way.
We Rock the Spectrum gave me that opportunity, and I grabbed it with both hands.
What drew me to this particular franchise is its mission: every child belongs here. Not just children with autism or developmental differences-though they are absolutely at the heart of everything we do – but every child.
Neurotypical kids.
Sensory-seeking kids.
Kids with no diagnosis at all.
Kids who just need a place to run, climb, swing, and be completely and totally themselves without judgment.
Our 12 specialized sensory equipment pieces — the crash pit, zip slider, monkey bars, trampoline, climbing mountain, and more — were designed with children with disabilities in mind, but the magic is that they are pure joy for any child who walks through our doors. No label required. No paperwork needed. Just come play.
A Note to Our Redlands Community
Opening in February 2026 was one of the most surreal and beautiful moments of my life. Seeing this community show up: families I grew up with, teachers who taught me, neighbors who watched me grow up — it was overwhelming in the best possible way.
We Rock the Spectrum – Redlands is here for the long haul. We are here for your children, your families, and this incredible community that has given so much to me over the years. It is my greatest honor to give something back.
